Kerry is a transplant to the Northern Nevada region. He grew up in Kansas in a small farm town and eventually left once he enlisted in the Navy. After the Navy, he went into public relations and marketing where he spent the better part of 25 years. Looking for a fresh start, Kerry began working in the real estate industry in 2016, seeking a change of pace and a career full of meaning and connection.

Kerry purchased his first home in Sparks/Reno, Nevada where he lives with his wife and their pets, Noah and Tommy.
